“It is a harsh reality that most of the holiday spots at the coast do not provide the all-under-one-roof destination where children can play and have fun while also keeping the adults entertained without the need to travel for sometimes hours from where they are staying,” said Liu Tiancai, General Manager Sultan Palace Development Limited.

In a true twist on the royal standard of holiday living, Sultan Palace Development Limited has converted the 700 metres of exquisite sandy beach front into a luxury resort. The resort comprises of villas, condos and beach houses, for the family in search of the ideal holiday at the coast.

The children will be kept to entertain themselves off the water. The beach retreat will feature a kids’ club with a play area and kids café. It will also have a kid’s games room for video gaming and a creative area for activities such as painting and drawing.

The Souk overlooks the beach at 10 meters above sea level. It also has a gourmet restaurant, cocktail bar and beach bar from where guests can enjoy a serene and unobstructed view of the Indian Ocean. It is set up in a way that allows parents to enjoy The Souk, a residents club that is the heart and soul of the beach retreat and features a host of the best leisure facilities as children explore their talents and the waterpark.

Residents will enjoy a world class club house incorporating a fine brasserie, a well-equipped gym, games room and a luxury health spa.

The choice of location for the resort ensures that vacationers are within easy reach of many of other offerings of a holiday at the coast.

This will not compromise on exclusivity and privacy through its location in the prime decongested coastal space of Kikambala. The beach retreat is within five kilometers of the Vipingo Ridge Golf course and it offers easy access via the Mombasa-Malindi Highway.  It’s near facilities in Nyali and Bamburi that includes glamorous shopping malls and a vibrant entertainment.

Attached on the economic potential of Kilifi County, the Sh5bn Sultan Palace Beach Retreat represents a landmark investment in the Kenyan coast reaffirming the desirability of the coastal town for real estate and as a tourist’s terminus.

“Kilifi is thriving as a holiday destination and the recent developments in infrastructure, a sign of the county government’s dedication, is more than enough goodwill for us,” said Liu Tiancai.

The fully-financed Sultan Palace Beach Retreat comprises exclusive villas of 400 square meters, beach houses of 230 square meters and executive condos ranging between 80 and 170 square meters in the first phase. A pre-construction rush has seen the villas already experience an upsurge in price to Sh72m. This up from an opening price of Sh65m with most of the villas now sold. A five-star hotel is to be established in the second phase of the development.
